Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the scientific calculator?
The calculator has two modes: Standard and Scientific.

Standard mode: Perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) along with percentages, square roots, and memory functions.

Scientific mode: Access advanced functions like trigonometric calculations (sin, cos, tan), logarithms, exponentials, and constants like π and e.

Simply click on the mode you need, enter your values using the buttons, and press the equals (=) button to calculate the result.
What are the memory functions (M+, M-, MR, MC)?
The memory functions allow you to store and manipulate values during calculations:

M+: Adds the current displayed value to the memory
M-: Subtracts the current displayed value from the memory
MR: Recalls (displays) the value stored in memory
MC: Clears the memory value

These functions are useful when performing sequences of calculations where you need to temporarily store intermediate results.
What is the difference between Degrees and Radians?
Degrees and Radians are different units for measuring angles:

Degrees: A full circle is 360 degrees. This is the more common unit in everyday use.
Radians: A full circle is 2π radians (approximately 6.28). This unit is often used in calculus and other advanced mathematics.

When performing trigonometric calculations (sin, cos, tan), make sure to select the appropriate angle unit for your needs. For example, sin(90) in degrees equals 1, while sin(90) in radians gives a different result.
How can I use the calculation history?
To access your calculation history:

1. Click the "History" button at the bottom of the calculator.
2. Your previous calculations will be displayed, showing both the expressions and their results.
3. You can click on any calculation in the history to reuse it.
4. Use the "Clear History" button to remove all past calculations if needed.

The history feature is useful for reviewing your work or reusing previous calculations without having to re-enter them.
What do the CE and C buttons do?
These buttons help you clear entries and start fresh:

CE (Clear Entry): Clears the most recent entry without affecting the rest of the calculation. Use this if you made a mistake in your current input but want to keep the previous operations.

C (Clear): Completely clears the calculator, erasing the current calculation and resetting the display to zero. Use this when you want to start a new calculation from scratch.
